IF YOU FAIL

At the lake

In case you have failed to see
with the eyes of your soul,
my spirit could be felt around
caring for what you may need.

In case you have failed to hear
my soft whispering every night,
I am next to the magic angel’s light
that watches you sleep and dream.

In case you ever fail to say
the words I expect from you,
know I will understand, though,
may never let feelings go away.

In case you ever fail to feel
there is something between us,
I will hardly decide to give up
‘til the day you finally come to me.
